I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to the Concord/Charlotte area in 1998 following the
completion of my Masters Degree. I worked in mental health right out of college but focused on
school psychology in graduate school and received my Masters of Science in Education from
Duquesne University. Upon moving to North Carolina, I started working as a school
psychologist for the Rowan-Salisbury school system. Soon learning that my passion was for
mental health, I obtained my license and worked as an LCMHC with Atrium Health from 2000-2025.
 

The last few years of my time with Atrium, I worked with children and adolescents in school based therapy but I have experience with all ranges of ages. I am open to seeing anyone 12 years old and up. We can work through many issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, chronic medical conditions, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, caregiver responsibilities, trauma, and anger management. I also enjoy working with families and couples as well to assist them in finding healing and balance within the home environment. I work primarily with the following therapy modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Trauma Focused-CBT.
 

You can be assured that we will work together to create an environment that fosters kindness,
acceptance, respect and a genuine desire to provide healing and understanding. Within our
sessions we will work together on meeting your goals through utilizing a safe and judgement-free
environment. I will offer Christian counseling upon client request as I do feel faith is an integral
part of healing.
 

I have been married for over 25 years and have two adult daughters. I enjoy spending time with family, our dog Ollie and friends. I like to travel and try new hobbies and have been involved with our church for the past several years working with children and adolescents.

My self-pay rate is $150 per session
