Hi, I’m Britney Adams, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern through Liberty University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University and have spent much of my career working with children, teens, and families. Through this I developed a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges, build on their strengths, and find hope during difficult seasons.

My professional experience includes working as Dean of Students. This role allowed me to support individuals struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence issues, behavioral concerns, feelings of overwhelm, and difficult life changes by helping them build practical tools, healthy coping skills, and confidence in themselves.

I especially have a heart for helping children and teens learn how to manage their big emotions in healthy ways, while also supporting individuals of all ages as they work toward healing, growth, and personal goals. I also have a strong interest in working with those experiencing grief and loss, providing a compassionate space where clients can feel supported.

I believe every person has value and the ability to grow through life’s difficulties. My goal is to create a safe space where clients can find hope, healing, and become their most authentic selves.

My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, and I am happy to incorporate faith-based perspectives upon request.
